Katharina is a traditional Indonesian phinisi built in Kalimantan using ironwood. Her slim hull was originally planned for commercial cargo sailing, before the owners spotted her in the making, bought her and fitted her out as a cruising vessel. Refurbished in 2014, Katharina was reshaped by highly skilled Indonesian craftsmen to maintain the authenticity and unique heritage that her phinisi style represents. Her traditional appearance is bolstered with modern technology, and she is equipped with a super yacht grade AC station and systems that meet the latest safety standards.


Katarina sails throughout Indonesia, offering sailing holidays focused on adventure from the spiritual island of Bali to wild West Papua and beyond



ACCOMMODATION & FACILITIES
Katharina’s 6 cabins offer creature comforts and expected amenities including double beds or twins, private en-suite bathrooms, natural light, safety boxes, individually controlled air-conditioning and storage space

Elsewhere on the yacht, there is a large air-conditioned lounge fitted with teak furniture, a television, DVD and music centre, while outside guests can choose to relax in the sun on the top deck, or in the shade of the covered foredeck

Guests will be treated to the adventure of a lifetime onboard Katharina, where facilities include snorkelling equipment and sea canoes for island exploration, and a dedicated chef cooks a range of delectable dishes.
